Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to placing homeless dogs into loving, lifelong homes. As Michigan’s largest no-kill facility, we provide “A Home Along the Way” for abused, abandoned, and neglected dogs while they wait for their forever families.

Funded entirely through private donations and community support, Mackenzie’s rescues dogs from shelters and rescues across Michigan and provides veterinary care, training, behavioral support, and compassionate daily care. We are committed to giving every dog the love, dignity, and second chance they deserve.
