We take great pride in providing exceptional veterinary care for our resident dogs. This sponsorship will help care for dogs with chronic illness, like Dusty, Chester & Princess who have seizure disorders and Stone, who has an autoimmune disease and Bow, who has chronic stomach issues. Your support will help with the ongoing care for these sweet dogs, while also helping many others get the care and treatment they deserve.
Top Dog Sponsor
Top Dog means helping our dogs maintain healthy lives while they are in our care. With your sponsorship, 10 dogs will receive annual vaccines (rabies, bordella, distemper, parvo, influenza), wellness blood work, intestinal parasite checks, and monthly heartworm preventive. This important medical care allows us to make sure we keep our dogs at the top of their game.

Prescription foods – we all know prescriptions are expensive, so are prescription foods – this sponsorship covers two 25 lb. bags of Purina Pro Plan HA (which helps dogs with food allergies) a month for 12 months. Food allergies are common, we currently have 7 large breed dogs on this prescription. We go through 14 bags a month. If their tummies are happy, their tails are waggin’!

Our shelter enrichment program makes a major difference in the daily life of these rescue dogs: A variety of in-kennel and out-of-kennel experiences engage dogs and make their days more interesting, such as kong toys, agility equipment, training toys, and food puzzle toys. When engaged in enrichment activities, dogs are less likely to develop the inappropriate behaviors that are their own efforts at relieving boredom and stress. Enrichment helps dogs maintain their mental, physical, and emotional health so that they remain good adoption candidates and don’t become behaviorally at risk. Enrichment, training and supplies go hand in hand, and with over 90 dogs, we are using a lot of treats, toys and supplies to help make our dogs time here as enjoyable as possible.
